This study reports the prevalences of qnrVC genes in 74 ciprofloxacin-resistant Vibrio sp. isolates. Two novel functional qnrVC alleles, qnrVC8 and qnrVC9, sharing 98% and 99% nucleotide similarity with qnrVC6 and qnrVC7, respectively, were identified.
