ABSTRACT N 6 -adenosine methylation (m 6 A) is the most common posttranscriptional RNA modification in mammalian cells. We found that most transcripts encoded by the Kaposi's sarcoma-associated herpesvirus (KSHV) genome undergo m 6 A modification.
