Abstract excerpt
Transient ischemic attack (TIA) is a brief cerebral ischemic incident. This study assesses the role of TNF-α and IL-6 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) as predictors of recurrent TIAs that have high risk of developing stroke.
