OBJECTIVE: The goal of the genetic investigation was to identify the associations of serum lipid levels and DPP-4 variants in Chinese type 2 diabetes patients. METHODS: We detected four variants of the DPP4 gene in 190 Chinese individuals with type 2 diabetes and tested for an association with dyslipidemia in 82 selected samples.
