OBJECTIVE: To explore the genetic cause for a boy featuring mainly with mental retardation. METHODS: G-banding karyotyping and fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) were carried out for the child and his parents. The child was also analyzed with chromosome microarray (CMA).
