Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a common chronic autoimmune disease characterized by symmetric polyarthritis. This study was designed to investigate the associations between HLA-DRB1 gene polymorphisms and RA in the Chinese Han population of Shaanxi province, northwest of China.
