Arabidopsis REVERSION-TO-ETHYLENE SENSITIVITY1 (RTE1) represses ethylene hormone responses by promoting ethylene receptor ETHYLENE RESPONSE1 (ETR1) signaling, which negatively regulates ethylene responses.
