In this study, the complete mitochondrial (mt) genome sequence of Sus celebensis was firstly determined. The total genome was 16,481 bp in length and its overall base composition was estimated to be 34.9% for A, 25.8% for T, 26.2% for C, 13.1% for G, respectively, indicating an A-T (60.7%)-rich feature in Celebes wild boar mitogenome.
