OBJECTIVE: To investigate the application of ABO blood group genotyping in complicated ABO blood group type. METHODS: Ten specimens of complicated ABO blood group were genotyped by sequence specific primer PCR (PCR -SSP), and confirmed by DNA sequencing and alignment.
