The distribution of allele Ser447Ter of lipoprotein lipase gene (LPL) and polymorphic markers E2 and E4 of the apolipoprotein E gene (ApoE) were examined in 100 obese patients at the age of 18-66 years (28 men and 72 women, 40.6 +/- 2.1 years old).
