Orf virus (ORFV) is an enveloped virus with a double-stranded DNA genome, causing a contagious pustular dermatitis, mainly in goats and sheep. In this study, two strains of ORFV were isolated from sheep and goat samples in Xinjiang and Shaanxi, China.
