We investigated the roles of lipoprotein lipase and apolipoprotein E (apoE) secreted from human monocyte-derived macrophages in the uptake of very low density lipoproteins (VLDL). ApoCII-deficient VLDL were isolated from a patient with apoCII deficiency.
