The genetic variation in Zn-alpha 2-glycoprotein (ZAG) was investigated by polyacrylamide gel isoelectric focusing and immunoblotting. The samples comprised 590 Chinese from 2 localities (Shenyang: n = 390; Kaohsiung: n = 200) and 873 Koreans from 2 localities (Seoul: n = 523; Cheju: n = 350).
