Sixteen cases of gastrointestinal B- and T-cell lymphoma were investigated for clonal rearrangements of immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor genes. In all cases the immunogenotype data corresponded well with the immunohistochemical findings, thus confirming the biologic heterogeneity of these lymphomas.
