OBJECTIVES: To examine the association between fibroblast growth factor receptor-4 (FGFR-4) genetic polymorphisms (Gly-388Arg) and prostate cancer susceptibility. METHODS: A comprehensive search was conducted to identify all case-control studies of FGFR-4 polymorphisms and prostate cancer risk.
