We report the generation of stable transfectant cell lines by DNA-mediated transfection that overexpress viral and/or cellular oncogenes. Expression of heterologous genes (FBJ- and FBR-v-fos, polyoma large and middle T) was confirmed by Northern hybridization, immunofluorescence and immunoprecipitation.
