A sample of 443 Chuetas (descendents of Majorcan Jews) was typed for the ABO, Rh, Lewis, Duffy, MNSs, Kell and P blood groups. Significant deviations from the Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium were observed in the MNSs and Duffy systems with a deficiency of heterozygotes.
