Abstract excerpt

The ESR method shows that variation of lysin concentration in the maiz enzyme resulting from the Opaque-2 mutation correlates with the number of paramagnetic centres in seed fractions. Increase of the lysin concentration brings about a quick rise of the ESR amplitude in the enzyme fraction of aleyrone layer and a decrease of the ESR amplitude in the seed germ.
