Tumor cells of 14 cases of non-Hodgkin lymphomas and 2 cases of Hodgkin disease were tested for the presence of the transferrin receptor (CD71) by flow cytofluorimetry before 67gallium imaging. It appeared that expression of CD71 phenotype was closely related to the positivity of gallium scan before therapy.
