To study the influence of ApoAI and ApoB gene polymorphisms on lipid profile in healthy Tamilian volunteers of south India. Genotyping of ApoAI and ApoB polymorphisms was done in 185 subjects by polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method.The frequency of the M1-, M2- and R- alleles were 21%, 4.3% and 5.4% respectively and were similar to that reported from Asian Indians....
