OBJECTIVE: To investigate the association between the polymorphism of prostacyclin synthase gene (CYP8A1) and myocardial infarction (MI) in Uigur population. METHODS: Totally 210 patients with MI and 206 healthy control subjects were detected by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphism.
