A disrupted allele (r1) of a cadherin gene (Ha_BtR) is genetically associated with incompletely recessive resistance to Bacillus thuringiensis toxin Cry1Ac in a Cry1Ac-selected strain (GYBT) of Helicoverpa armigera.
