Because interaction existed between PTEN and RET-RAS-RAF-MAPK pathway, H4-PTEN (a newly identified gene rearrangement), RET/PTC and BRAF mutation were scanned in 125 Chinese patients with papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).
