A Gram-negative, non-spore-forming, rod-shaped bacterial strain, K107(T), was isolated from sludge collected from a textile dye works in Korea and its taxonomic position was investigated by means of a polyphasic analysis. Strain K107(T) contained Q-10 as the predominant ubiquinone. The major fatty acids (>10% of total fatty acids) were C(18:1)omega7c and C(18:1) 2-OH. The DNA G+C content was 57.0 mol%. A...
