Melioidosis is a severe infection caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei. The timely implementation of effective antimicrobial treatment requires rapid diagnosis. Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) targeting the TTS1 gene cluster was developed for the detection of B. pseudomallei.
