In the plant-beneficial bacterium Pseudomonas fluorescens CHA0, the expression of antifungal exoproducts is controlled by the GacS/GacA two-component system. Two RNA binding proteins (RsmA, RsmE) ensure effective translational repression of exoproduct mRNAs.
