The monoclonal antibody (MAb) 2G12 recognizes a cluster of high-mannose oligosaccharides on the human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) envelope glycoprotein gp120 and is one of a select group of MAbs with broad neutralizing activity.
