Fanconi-Bickel syndrome (FBS) is a rare disorder of glucose transport caused by autosomal recessive mutations in GLUT2. Clinically, FBS results in growth failure, hepatomegaly, renal Fanconi syndrome, and abnormal glucose homeostasis.
