The cisplatin analogue 1R,2R-diaminocyclohexane(trans-diacetato)(dichloro)platinum(IV) (DAP) is a DNA-damaging agent that will be entering clinical trials for its potent cytotoxic effects against cisplatin-resistant tumour cells.
