We report two female patients with neuromyelitis optica (NMO, Devic's syndrome) following or coincidental with myasthenia gravis (MG). Their illnesses were characterized by subacute myelitis with optic neuritis, high serum levels of muscle acetylcholine receptor antibody, and autoimmune thyroid disease.
