Craniopharyngiomas (CP) were studied morphologically (52 cases), immunohistochemically (6 cases) and molecular-genetically (5 cases) in patients aged 18-65 years. Main causes of death early after surgery are disturbances in the hypothalamic region connected with surgical intervention.
