Nasu-Hakola disease (NHD, polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy, PLOSL) is a recessively inherited disorder characterized by systemic bone cysts and progressive presenile dementia associated with sclerosing encephalopathy.
