DszB is a hydrolase involved in the biodegradation of dibenzothiophene in the soil bacterium Rhodococcus sp. IGTS8. DszB catalyzes the hydrolysis of 2'-hydroxybiphenyl-2-sulfinic acid to sulfite and biphenyl-2-ol.
