In order to clarify the immunological aspects of tuberculosis, phenotype of peripheral blood lymphocytes was analyzed in 96 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis and 43 normal controls. In tuberculosis, CD8 positive T cells were significantly decreased in comparison with normal controls and regarding expression of CD3, CD4, CD19, CD16 and gamma delta T cell receptor (TCR), there was no significant difference...
