The COP9 signalosome (CSN) is an evolutionarily conserved, nucleus-enriched multiprotein complex. CSN plays roles in photomorphogenesis, auxin response, and floral organ formation, possibly via the regulation of ubiquitin-proteasome-mediated protein degradation.
