Using the primers designed by Yoshida, the amplified fragment length polymorphism of the STR locus CSF1PO was studied. 8 alleles were determined from 312 unrelated individuals of Han population living in Wuhan. Sensitivity and suitability of the PCR-STR typing using Yoshida's primers were compared with the one using Hammond's.
