The immunogenetic analysis in 152 patients with sensorineural hearing loss (SNHL) was studied. HLA class I antigens and haplotypes were calculated on the basis of typical linkage between HLA-A, -B, and C loci. Soluble form of HLA antigens (sHLA-I) in blood serum in a semiquantitative microabsorption test according to McLean et al. were also determined.
