The utility of multilocus RFLPs and three PCR-based techniques, Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA (RAPD), Inter-Simple Sequence Repeat-PCR (ISSR-PCR) and simple sequence repeats (SSRs) for genetic characterization was examined using 13 diverse silkworm strains.
