PURPOSE: A combination of proton pump inhibitors and antimicrobials has been applied as an anti-Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) therapy. Omeprazole, one of the proton pump inhibitors, is metabolized by CYP2C19. which exhibits genetic polymorphism.
