We have tested different cell types as sources for nucleus donors to determine differences in cloning efficiency. When donor nuclei were isolated from cumulus cells and injected into recipient oocytes from adult hybrid mice (B6D2F1 and B6C3F1), the success rate of cloning was 1.5-1.9%.
