The effect of inactivation of DppA, a dipeptide transport protein identified as a periplasmic molecular chaperone-like protein, on the formation of active dimethyl sulfoxide reductase (DMSOR) was examined in Rhodobacter sphaeroides f. sp. denitrificans.
