Lipoprotein and apolipoprotein changes were evaluated in 10-week-old Zucker diabetic fatty (ZDF) male rats following 12 weeks of insulin treatment, which normalized blood glucose and maintained weight gaining characteristic of nondiabetic Zucker fatty rats.
