Four genotypes named SP2A, SP2B, SP2C and SP2D were obtained in vivo by infecting S. exigua larvae with limiting dilutions of the Spanish field isolate Spodoptera exigua Nucleopolyhedrovirus (Se-SP2) of SeMNPV.
