BACKGROUND: To know the distribution of phenotypes Lp(a) in an young population. METHODS: Lipoprotein levels, lipoprotein(a), apolipoproteins and the Lp(a) phenotypes were determined in 105 children, selected according to their cholesterol concentrations.
