Electrophysiological studies of the auditory pathway were performed on the mutant hamster 'bt' which is known to have myelin deficiencies in the central nervous system. Auditory brainstem responses (ABRs), electrocochleograms (EcochGs), and cochlear microphonics (CMs) were recorded.
