OBJECTIVE: To investigate the correlations between vitamin D receptor (VDR) gene polymorphisms, and bone mineral density (BMD) as well as osteocalcin. METHODS: We used PCR-RFLP and Southern hybridization analysis to determine VDR genotypes in 202 Chinese women.
