Abstract excerpt
Rats genetically predisposed (PM+) and non-predisposed (PM-) to pendulum movement (spontaneous nystagm) were studied at different age. In old PM+ and PM- rats the brain MAO-A activity did not differ, unlike between young PM+ and PM- rats. In old PM+ and PM- rats, brain stem MAO-A activity was higher than in young ones.
