OBJECTIVE: To explore the variation of Chinese hepatitis G virus (HGV) strains. METHODS: HGV RNA was detected by reverse transcription nested polymerase chain reaction (RT-nPCR) with a designed primer derived from the 5' non-coding region of Chinese HGV strains.
