We recently investigated samples of pediatric B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia (BCP-ALL) and normal bone marrow (BM). We found that leukemic blasts, compared to their physiologic counterpart cells, frequently display aberrant phenotypes with respect to levels of expression of certain antigens.
