Does clpC deletion change abundance, processing, or both?

Pleiotropic proteomic changes after clpC deletion could arise from altered protein quantity, accumulation of incompletely processed species, selective loss of mature forms, or shifts in modification and complex state. Interpretation therefore depends on whether the evidence distinguishes shared peptides from proteoform-specific peptides, maps new termini or cleavage products, and tests whether phenotype-associated signals belong to intact proteins or degradation intermediates. Were any changes resolved to sequence-defined or modification-defined molecular species, and did those species track the reported phenotypes more closely than total protein abundance?
